What do I need to do to guarantee an apartment?

Advance payment is required to guarantee an apartment, either by credit card or cash deposit.

To guarantee an apartment, do I need to pay the whole amount in advance?

No! You can pay certain percentages depending how long you are planning to stay as explained here:

For daily and weekly stays, a deposit of 50% of the total amount covering the desired period of stay is required to guarantee the reservation at the time of the booking.

The balance of the 50% must be paid prior to check-in.

For monthly stays, a deposit equal to 1 month’s stay is required to guarantee the reservation.

Reservations will only be confirmed upon receipt of the necessary deposit.

When I book to pay for several months, when should I pay the monthly rent?

Monthly rent is payable in advance on or before the 1st of each month. For continuing guests, rent is payable in advance including extra charges i.e. laundry, meals etc. For Corporate guests, monthly rent is payable in advance before the commencement date elapses.

What does the apartment rent include?

Apartment rent includes:

  • Daily housekeeping
  • 24hr Security Services
  • Free secure parking
  • Fully equipped kitchens
  • Starter supplies kit
  • Free in-house phone calls
  • Free DSTV & internet service
  • Free DVD player
  • Free Gym usage

What extra fees do I need to budget for?

Additional services at a fee:

  • In-house laundry services
  • Grocery shopping
  • Restaurant services
  • Airport Pick Up
  • Taxi Services
  • Gym instructor on call
  • Massage and pedicure services

An extra monthly fixed service charge will be applied for 30 days’ stay and over. This fixed charge is to cater for water and electricity consumption. Any other extra expenses incurred within one’s stay must be settled at the end of each month or upon check out.

What is your cancellation policy?

Our cancellation policy is as follows: Cancellation made within 2 days of arrival or no shows incurs 1 night’s accommodation charge.

For monthly stays, early check-outs are allowed with 72 hours’ notice or 1 week accommodation charge in lieu of notice. For cancellation of monthly stays the daily rate will be applicable for the number of days stayed up to including the notice period.

No shows attract 1 day’s charge for bookings on the daily rate and 1 week’s rate for bookings on the weekly and monthly rates.

What facilities are within the vicinity of apartments?

Our apartments are located in the heart of Nairobi’s Kilimani Area. You can take a few minutes’ drive to Yaya Center Mall, Prestige Plaza, and Junction Mall for movies, shopping, dining and many other fun activities.

Do you organize Safari Tours for guests staying at your apartments?

At a fee, we do organize safari tours for our guests. Tours to the Animal Orphanage, the National Museum, Nairobi Safari walk, Giraffe Center, the Snake Park.
